3. Pre-Matric Hostel:

  • All Prematric Hostels has provided with four Pairs dresses, note books and bedding material, Sport Dress, School Bags, Sports Shoes, Sweaters, note etc., every year are supplied.

5. Post-Matric Hostel:

   In Wanparthy- District (2) College Hostels are sanctioned. In that (1) Boys and (1) Girls hostels with a strength of 179.

6. Diet Charges for Pre-Matric / Post-Matric Hostels :

  All the Hostel students are provided with meals everyday which includes breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and the boarders of the Hostels are also provided with the same except lunch on school days as per the Menu prescribed by the Head Office. The rate of diet charges is Rs.950/- per month per boarder of students III upto VII Class and Rs.1100/- for students of VIII to X Classes and the boarders of College Hostels are provided with mess charges @ Rs.1500/- per month.

7. POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS:

 The Department is sanctioning Post-Matric Scholarship to the Scheduled Tribe students pursing higher studies in the Educational Institutions situated in Wanaparthy District, the Government has rate prescribed to each courses for release of MTF to ST Students.

9. Pre Matric Scholarships (New Scheme):

          The V to VIII Classes students studying in Government, Aided and Local Bodies Schools are provided Pre Matric Scholarship of Rs.1000/- per annum. The students shall register their names in the Online System and the concerned School Heads shall be send applications to the District Tribal Dev. Officer along with Aadhar Card, Residence, Community and Income Certificates, Date of Birth and Bonafide Certificates and Bank Account, after due scrutiny, the Department will sanction the scholarship amount and release the same amount to student’s Bank account.

10. Pre Matric Scholarships (Rajiv Vidya Deewena):

  The Government of India, with a view to support the parents of ST children studying in classes IX and X and to prevent incidence of drop outs, sanctions scholarships of Rs. 2250/- to Days scholars and Rs.4500/- to Hostellers studying in the schools run by Government, local bodies and Government aided schools.

Detailed guidelines have been issued by the Government under this scheme vide G.O. MS. No.18, Tribal Welfare (Edn.) Department, dated: 12.02.2014.

          The students shall register their names in the Online System and the concerned school Heads shall sent applications to the District Tribal Development Officer through concerned Hostel Welfare Officer along with Aadhar Card, Community Certificate, Residence and Date of Birth Certificate, Bonafide Certificate and Bank Account Number and after due scrutiny, the Department will sanction the scholarship amount and release the same amount to student’s bank account.

14. Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi:

          The Department is sanctioning Ambedkar overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship of Rs. 20.00 lakhs to ST student sponsored for pursuing PG course in the countries, like USA, UK, Canada, Australia etc.

15. GRE / GMAT and TOFEL etc., coaching for ST students:

Further, the Department is also sponsoring ST students to the reputed coaching institutions for GRE, TOFLE etc. to enable the students to qualify for going abroad and avail the scholarship under Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi.

16. FINANCE ASSISTANT TO ST LAW GRADUATES:

          The Tribal Welfare Department is providing training to scheduled tribe law graduates. The Department is providing stipend for Rs. 1,000/- per month for (3) Years and Rs. 6,000/- released for purchase of Library Books.

18. ECONOMIC SUPPORT SCHEMES:

The Government is extending financial assistance by way of subsidy (which would be linked to the credit component of commercial banks) to the people belonging to notified STs (whose annual income from all the sources is Rs.1,50,000/- or below per annum in rural areas and Rs. 2,00,000/- or below per annum in the urban areas) through Telangana State Schedule Tribes Finance Cooperative Corporation Ltd. (TRICOR) under the Sector Agriculture, Minor Irrigation, Self Employment (ISB), Animal Husbandry and Skill Development. The age limit shall be between 21-55 and it is relaxed upto 60 years under agriculture and allied sectors. The total targeted beneficiaries of the District shall be divided to the Mandals / Municipalities in proportion to the population of STs and identification of beneficiaries shall be ensured at the level of Gram Sabha/Ward Sabhas by the Mandal/Municipal level committee.
