Brief Information About Department:
The Minorities Welfare Department is working towards the Development & welfare of social and economic up liftmen of the Minorities Communities consisting of Muslims Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Janis & Parses.
The Wanaparthy District newly formed with a population of 673552, in which the Minorities’ population is 47,701, as the Minorities percentage is 7.08% to whom the following welfare activities Schemes are implementing successfully by the following Govt. By providing financial assistance to the poor Minority Communities.
Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutional Society (TMREIS) Schools:
The State Government as established and run the following Minorities Residential Institution successfully.
- Minorities Boys Residential School (Boys) Wanaparthy (448 Students)
- Minority Residential School, (Boys) Kothakota, Dist. Wanaparthy (417 Students)
- Minority Residential School, (Girls) Wanaparthy (420 Students)
- Minorities Boys Residential Junior College (Boys) Wanaparthy (66 Students)
- Minorities Boys Residential Junior College (Boys) Kothakota (110 Students)
- Minorities Boys Residential Junior College (Girls) Wanaparthy (100 Students)
The students are provided with free accommodation and food.
