 AMARCHINTA is a Grade-III Municipality . It is situated on latitude 16˚22′ 26.68″ and on longitude 77˚46′ 52.53″. Its latitude varies from (+) 385.00mts to (+) 410.00mts over.

 AMARCHINTA is a Grade-III grade municipality and Newly formed dist head quarter having population 575970 as per 2011 census and present population is 15000 (approximately) with 10 electoral wards, with an extent of 18.96 Sq Kms.

 Municipality had tied up with Energy Efficiency Service Ltd and 644 LED lights have been fixed in all streets.

                   AMARCHINTA Municipality had constructed 2376 individual House Hold toilets Toilets under Swachh Bharath (Urban) scheme.

Pattana Pragathi Programe:  

          AMARCHINTA Municipality conducting from 03.06.2022 to 18.06.2022 in town and Cleaned around 1560 sq mts of open plots, road side weeds, 90 street lights fixed in the municipality 14.5 Kms of drains was cleaned with engaging of Dozar and JCB’s.

Public Toilets:

          In AMARCHINTA Municipality 05 Nos required as per town population. In that toilets  (16-Male, 16-Female) 32 Nos newly constructed in different arrears.

Pattana Prakuthi Vanalu:

          AMARCHINTA Municipality having 10 Nos Wards. In this 05 Nos Wards identified Pattana Prakruthi Vanalu remaining 05 Nos wards under process and plantation started in 03 Nos out of 10 Wards remaining under progress.

NURSERIES:

          The Govt given target 02 Nos for 2022-23 year for developing nurseries in AMARCHINTA Municipality. In this all 02 nos Nurseries identified for plantation also starting for Haritha Haram programme for the year 2022-23 in all 02 Nos 11500 plants ready for plantation with support of SLFs.

HARITHA HARAM 2022-23:

            The Government has given target 33450 Nos plants for the year 2022-23. In that programe AMARCHINTA Municipality planted 33450 nos and achieved 100%.

PLASTIC FREE AMARCHINTA:

As per the instructions of the govt to achieve AMARCHINTA as a plastic free town several awareness meetings to stakeholders and awareness rallies were conducted and planning to declare plastic free.
