Telangana State Formation Day celebrations were held on Monday at the district IDOC premises.District Collector Adarsh Surabhi IAS, SP Ravula Giridhar,Wanaparthy MLA Thudi Megha Reddy,Additional Collector Revenue G Venkateswarlu, Additional Collector Local Bodies Yadayya,Wanaparthy Market Chairman Srinivas Goud and the chief guest,Chairman of the State Scheduled Castes Cooperative Development Corporation Preetham attended the program.They paid floral tributes to the Telangana Martyrs’ Stupa,unfurled the national flag and extended their best wishes to the people.On this occasion,the freedom fighters and their family members who fought for the achievement of Telangana’s homeland were honored and respected under the leadership of the chief guest.The cultural dances performed by children from various schools impressed everyone.
