Constitution Day Celebration in Integrated District Offices Complex – Wanaparthy

The Honorable Collector & District Magistrate Smt.Shaik Yasmeen Basha,IAS pointed out that since November 26, 2015, on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of the father of the Constitution, Dr. BR Ambedkar, it has been celebrated every year as “Constitution Day of India”.

Saturday The Honorable District Collector took pledge with the District Officers and staff to celebrate the “Constitution Day of India” in the office premises. Speaking on the occasion, she pointed out that Dr. BR Ambedkar framed the Constitution of India on November 26, 1949.

The Honorable District Collector said that the Constitution of India was approved by the government on January 26, 1950, and every year we celebrate it as Republic Day. On this occasion, “We, the people of India, are bound to follow the constitution of India which we have designed to establish a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic and republican constitution in the country, to promote social, economic, political, justice, freedom of expression, equality, racial unity, individual dignity and fraternity for all citizens. The district collector pledged by the district officials and staff that they will be there and swearing truthfully. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s greatness, services, rights, duties and responsibilities. She suggested that everyone should remember and follow it.
