Cheyutha Scheme
The Telangana Cheyutha Scheme is a government initiative aimed at providing financial and social security benefits to various segments of society, including weavers, handloom workers, senior citizens, widows, disabled individuals, and those suffering from specific diseases.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Permanent resident of Telangana
- Belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category with a white ration card
- Specific categories, including senior citizens, widows, disabled individuals, beedi workers, single women, and those suffering from specific diseases
Objective:
The scheme aims to alleviate financial burdens on economically weaker sections of society, providing medical and healthcare facilities, as well as monthly financial support to beneficiaries.

Benefits:
Monthly Pension: ₹4,000 for eligible beneficiaries, including senior citizens, widows, single women, beedi workers, handloom workers, AIDS victims, filaria patients, and dialysis patients. Disabled individuals are entitled to ₹6,000. Health Insurance: ₹10 lakh health insurance coverage under the Rajiv Aarogyasri scheme, providing free medical treatment in empanelled hospitals.
How To Apply
• Collect the application form from Gram Panchayat, Gram Sabha, or Municipal Corporation Office.
• Fill out the form with necessary information and attach required documents.
• Submit the application form to the respective Praja Palana Seva Kendram at MPDO Office.
• Check application status on the Praja Palana website.
