District Collector Smt. Shaik Yasmeen Basha, IAS, who is taking all measures to ensure that farmers focus on the cultivation of oil palm plantations, has taken over the related authorities.

         Vijnana Yatra (3) RTC on Wednesday organized an exhibition on oil palm plantations organized under the auspices of Wanaparthy Horticulture and Silk Industry Departments. The presence of the District Collector waving the flag on buses. Speaking on the occasion, she said that 108 farmers who had applied for oil palm cultivation had boarded the science trip bus. She suggested that farmers should be made aware of oil farm gardens through film presentation. The two farmers will hold face-to-face discussions with oil palm farmers in Bhadrachalam Kothagudem tomorrow and visit the fields where oil palm is grown. The district collector said that she would visit the oil palm oil processing unit in Aswarapet and learn about the cultivation practices.
