District Profile:
Wanaparthy is a new district formed on 11/10/2016 in the district re-organization of Telangana state and it is located 165 Km from the State Capital of Hyderabad. It is a famous place of good architecture known on Wanaparthy Raja Samastanam. The people at Wanaparthy are better known as civilized and Maintained peace.
In this district, there are (2) Assembly constituencies sharing with Nagarkurnool and Mahabubnagar districts. Wanaparthy assembly constituency is fully in the Wanaparthy district.
There is one Revenue division and 14 Mandals with 225 villages. There is a Railway station connecting South Central Railway at Wanaparthy road and connecting National Highway No. 44 at Kothakota.
In this district, there is one Municipality named Wanaparthy having 26 wards.
