The total no of roads in the district are 428 Numbers with a length of 1359.30 out of which 573.61 Km is BT portion, 90.76 Km CC portion, 135.18 Km WBM Road and remaining length is gravel/Earthen roads the works taken up under various programs in the district as shown below

1. Roads Sanctioned under PMGSY,(15) works with an estimate cost of Rs.39.26 Crores are sanctioned  to achieve length of 50.81 and till date 33.72 Km length BT is completed with an expenditure of Rs.21.04 crores, 12 works are completed and Remaining works are in progress.
2. BT Roads sanctioned under STSDF grant for (07) works with an estimate cost of Rs 1463.00 lakhs (1) works are completed (3) works are in progress and the remaining (3) works are tender stage achieved a length of 20.31Km.
3. Under VB-G Ram G grant, (133) GP Buildings were sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.2656.00 lakhs, Out of which (57) works are completed, (67) works are in progress and (09) works are not started.
4. Under VB-G Ram G grant, (103) Anganwadi Buildings were sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.1236.00 lakhs, out of which (4) works are completed, (73) works are in progress and (26) works are not started.
5. Under VB-G Ram G grant, (166) VO Buildings were sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.1660.00 lakhs, out of which (9) works are completed (122) works are in progress and (35) works are not started
6. Under VB-G Ram G grant, (44) Kitchensheds were sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.149.60 lakhs, out of which (24) works are completed, (20) works are in progress.
7. Under VB-G Ram G grant, (24) Girls Toilets were sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.48.00 lakhs, out of which (15) works are completed, (09) works are in progress.
8. Under VB-G Ram G grant, (57) Boys Toilets were sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.114.00 lakhs, out of which (35) works are completed, (19) works are in progress and (03) works are not started
9. Under VB-G Ram G grant, (33) Food Grain Storage Godowns were sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.990.00 lakhs, out of which (28) works are in progress and (05) works are not started
10. Under VB-G Ram G grant, (3) Neighbour hood centers were sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.30.00 lakhs, out of which (01) work is completed and (02) works are in progress
11. Under VB-G Ram G grant, (05) MS Buildings sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.60.00 lakhs, out of which (01) works are in progress and (04) works are not started.
12. Under VB-G Ram G grant grant, (06) Worksheds sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.60.00 lakhs, out of which (01) work in progress and (05) works are not started.
13. Under SDRF grant, (21) sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.217.00 lakhs, out of which (15) works are completed , (01) works are in progress and (05) works are not started.
14. Under MRR grant, (36) sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.3306.12 lakhs, out of which (26) works are completed , (04) works are in progress and (06) works are not started.
15. Under CRR grant, (21) sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.7120.00 lakhs, out of which (10) works are completed , (10) works are in progress and (01) works are not started.
16. Under SDF grant, (223) sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.1362.10 lakhs, out of which (41) works are completed , (110) works are in progress, (72) works are not started.
17. Under IMS grant, (01) sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.500.00 lakhs, out of which (01) work is in progress.
18. Under SCP grant, (564) sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.2354.80 lakhs, out of which works (356) works are completed, (72) works are in progress and (136) works are not started
19. Under MPLADS grant, (77) sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.474.28 lakhs, out of which works (58) works are completed, (11) works are in progress and (08) works are not started.
20. Under DMFT grant, (124) sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.745.80 lakhs, out of which works (83) works are completed, (25) works are in progress and (16) works are not started.
21. Under IMSB grant, (01) sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.500.00 lakhs, out of which works (1) works are in Progress
