“Guru Pujotsavam: Celebrating Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s Birthday as Teachers’ Day”

On Thursday, September 5, the district education department organized a celebration to mark the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan at the local Kalyana Sai function hall. The event was presided over by Dr. G. Chinna Reddy, Vice President of the Telangana State Planning Committee and attended by esteemed guests including Sri. Jupalli Krishna Rao, Honb’le Minister of State Excise, Tourism, and Culture Department, Honb’le District Collector & Magistrate Sri. Adarsh ​​Surabhi, IAS and other dignitaries.

In the spirit of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the gathering emphasized the crucial role of teachers in shaping a better society. To recognize their contributions, 52 exceptional teachers from the district were honoured as ‘Best Teachers’ at the event.
