Pradhan Mantri Formalisation Of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme Meeting

Sri. Ashish Sangwan, I.A.S Additional Collector (Local Bodies) suggested that food manufacturing industries can be set up and employment can be obtained under the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme.
He said that a one-day training program was organized at Mahila Samakhya office in Wanaparthi town on Wednesday to create awareness among the beneficiaries on “Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme” (PM-FME). He said that the beneficiaries of the food processing units were given training on FSSAI license, Aadhaar, packaging, branding and marketing.
PM-FME Credit Linked Subsidy Component (Higher order Enterprises – Bank Credit) Scheme Assistance to individual micro food processing units up to 35 per cent of the project cost, maximum subsidy limit of Rs 10.00 lakh, capital at federal level for self-help members in food manufacturing sector and explained that a seed capital loan of Rs 40,000/- will be provided for the purchase of equipment. He suggested that linkage subsidy up to 35 per cent of the project cost (maximum subsidy limit Rs. 10,00,000/- capital up to 10 per cent of the project cost, equal share of margin money up to 20 per cent as capital of Self-Help Groups (SHG).
In this program,members of the Society’s Empanal Training Karthik Reddy,DRDO Narsimhulu, Additional DRDO Renukadevi, DPM Arunamma, DPM Ramulu, APM and beneficiaries of PMFME scheme and others participated.
