Forest rights committees should be set up in villages: The Hon’ble District Collector Smt Shaik Yasmeen Basha, IAS.

The Hon’ble District Collector Mrs Sheikh Yasmin Bhasha, IAS, said that forest rights committees should be set up in Wanaparthi-villages. The Collector spoke to zonal level and division level officials held in the office conference hall. She said there is a possibility of 970 claims coming in the district.
She said committees would be set up in the villages under the auspices of the MPO. She asked the committee to appoint 10 to 15 members. The event was attended by Additional Collector, Forest Officer, MPVs, Tehsildars, DLPOs, Surveyors, Zonal Level Officers, and Officers.
